Your QR content stays on your device

QR payload creation, rendering, scan checking, logo preparation, CSV processing, ZIP packing, and PDF creation happen in the browser. The generator does not upload what you type or the files you select. It has no backend database for QR content, accounts, or scan histories.

The completed image contains its payload. Anyone who obtains a code may be able to read that payload, including a WiFi password or contact details. Local processing is not encryption or access control for the exported file.

Local design preferences

The generator uses localStorage under qr-design-v1 for colors, dot and corner styles, margin preference, and error correction. It does not save entered content, CSV data, or logo files there. Storage access is optional and guarded so generation can continue when a browser blocks it.

These preferences remain until you clear this site's local browser data or change them. Clearing local site data in your browser removes the saved preferences. This website does not set an account cookie or require a sign-in.

Website requests and hosting

Loading the site requests HTML, styles, scripts, and other public assets from its host. Like other websites, the hosting provider receives ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address, requested resource, and browser headers, and may handle operational logs under its own practices. QR input values are not included in generator request URLs or sent as form submissions.

Scans of an exported static code do not pass through this generator. If a person opens its destination, that website, application, phone service, or file host has its own privacy practices. The absence of scan tracking here does not control what another service receives.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is currently disabled because no token is configured. No analytics beacon is loaded in this default configuration. If enabled later, this section must reflect the deployed configuration.

Advertising and affiliate links

Advertising is disabled in the default configuration, so no advertising script is loaded. The reserved advertising hook is limited to content areas and does not affect the generator.

The optional print affiliate box is currently disabled. There are no default affiliate requests or partner redirects in QR payloads.

Contacting the operator

The contact link opens your own email application. If you send an email to contact@qrcodefreegenerator.com, your email provider and the receiving mailbox process the message and the details you include. Do not send passwords, private CSVs, or sensitive original images when a synthetic example will explain an issue.

This policy should be updated whenever the deployed behavior changes, including analytics or monetization settings. For questions, use the contact page. Read the static-code promise for the distinction between this site's processing and the destination behind a saved code.
